Happy Tuesday my amazing blogger family, how the heck are you? I hope you are doing well and staying safe. Here’s some hugs in case you need them 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Can you believe we are one week into December already? I sure am ready for this year to be over but I still have a few things to do first! And thankfully for you guys that includes this year’s edition of #30DaysOfHolidayCheer. I hope you have been following along so far over on the gram. 😉

Today’s post is in partnership with my friends at Lane Bryant and I am so excited to share the amazing holiday look I put together. Even though the holidays are going to look different this year, Lane Bryant still gave us a great selection of fun and festive looks to rock at home. Because I don’t know about you but I still want to look cute!I wanted to say an extra special thank you to Lane Bryant for their continued support of my holiday project, they have been with me since the beginning. And while today’s post is sponsored, all opinions are my own as always.

So let’s start off with a question – are you planning to still get dressed up this year or are you not bothering because you feel like what’s the point because of the pandemic? I have thought a lot about this and for me I am feeling more festive than I have in the last few years. In fact I was pretty much a bahumbug because my mental health was not in a good place.

Since I am feeling more festive this year I have decided to put on something special to celebrate how far I have come. To me it’s important to recognize the little things. It’s easy to be hard on yourself because we face so many expectations from society but the small victories are just as important if not more important in my opinion.

When I chose this outfit I did focus on choosing something that was festive but comfortable. And yes you can have both!

This ombré metallic midi dress caught my attention because of the colour. It’s a rich moody midnight blue that also has some shades of purple in the ombré part of the skirt.

I love that this dress has a stretch lining and that the top layer is made of a lightweight crinkle fabric that has great movement. This is perfect for wearing indoors. The long sleeves are sheer so you get some arm coverage but still show a little skin. They have elastic so I pushed them up to my elbow for a 3/4 length look instead.

The v-neck is perfect for showing some skin but still family friendly. And the twist detail at the waist is super flattering and accentuates my smallest point which I love. I am also a fan of this length where it just skims my knee. It does say in the website that this is a midi length but I would definitely say it is more knee length. I am wearing the size 28.

I styled this dress with these fabulous wine colour faux suede heels also from Lane Bryant. I have a hard time with heels but I couldn’t resist these and I am glad I tried them because they fit so well and the colour is more of a rich berry in person. And the ankle strap is very generous which I need because of my lipedema. I am wearing the size 9W.

To complete the look I added these druzy statement earrings and grey beaded bracelets also from Lane Bryant. The final piece was this statement clutch from my personal collection, I loved adding a pop of pink to play with the colour of the shoes.

So there you have it, a perfect holiday look that is swoon AND Zoom worthy! I would love to hear what you think of this outfit so leave me a comment below. And Lane Bryant is having a major sale today where you Buy 2 and Get 2 Free so if you are looking for something festive be sure to check it out.

Special thanks to Rebecca of Rebecca Northcott Photography for capturing these images.
