The focus of today’s post is a dress that I think is very versatile. It can be worn to the office (you will need a cami) , on a date, to a wedding or any other special occasion.
And while you all by know that I am not lacking for options in my closet, I do appreciate when something is versatile. That means it is likely to stay in my closet longer!
This is the Diana V-Neck Dress by SWAK Designs. Choosing this dress was a bit unusual for me in that I am not one for longer sleeves on something I would wear outside of the office.
This dress also comes in two different prints, and I would normally immediately gravitate towards the other which is purple and floral. (I know, that’s a huge shock, lol) But the combination of the vibrant fall colours with the beautiful shade of blue spoke to me.
Now for anyone who has ever ordered anything online, you know that sometimes the garment doesn’t always live up to the pictures. This is especially true when it comes to colours and prints. But I was so excited when I took this dress out of the package, the colours and print were even better in person!
The fit on this dress is absolutely amazing. It is cleavage enhancing so if you are smaller chested or uncomfortable showing that much skin, I would recommend wearing a cami or bralette underneath.
The chiffon skirt is generous and flows beautifully. I love the length, not too short, not too long. I am wearing the 4x which is my standard SWAK size so it is a true fit.
I decided to accessorize this look with a beautiful necklace and earrings from Pinch Gear.
I loved the iridescent colour in the beads with the brown and gold tones and the flower just made a statement. Unfortunately this set is sold out but I have given you links to some similar options. There are so many beautiful pieces, you can’t go wrong.
I then added a few bangles from my collection and my new blue clutch from Society + .
This piece was part of my girl Assa’s collection of the blog, My Curves and Curls. It is the perfect compliment to the dress and has a lovely shimmer to it. Finally, I put on my go to peep toe pumps and I was all set.
I love when I take a chance and something unexpected turns out fabulous. Don’t be afraid to take risks ladies! Fashion is supposed to be fun!
